Ciocca Chevy GMC is now charging a $20 overnight parking fee if you night drop your car for service in the morning. F these greedy guys.
Sadly, no access to that garage. Landlord has a bunch of crap in there. Man, do I miss having a garage.Good to see the T4R gets the garage lol.
My easiest purchase ever was from Malouf GMC. I walked in looking for a Yukon XL and the sales manager handed me a contract and said how's this one? Said a customer beat him down already and they wrote it up without ever checking the guys credit. Said it's yours if your credit checks out. Good deal, no blood spilled. This weekend I stopped at Malouf GMC to look for a Denali to upgrade the Wife's Acadia. I really was looking for an SLT, but I called over just before Memorial Day to see the price on it as it wasn't listed. Its a 23' Denali 46,500 miles and was still available. Took it for a drive all the bells and whistles. Nice car, wouldn't budge on the price. Mind you, Saturday, 2PM I was the only in the dealer looking at anything. No CPO, only remaining warranty was 60k drivetrain. 7-8% interest, but expected better if we ran it. No incentive on even a new one, unless I wanted to buy the 4 Cylinder Turbo 1500 Sierra.
Following that we went down to Freehold GMC, where they had a CPO 21' Denali, similar mileage but it just wasn't the one. They apparently only order in Denali's there cause no one is interested in the lesser packages. The search continues.
Needed new tires for our Explorer, order them from Costco, scheduled an appointment and all ready to go. Showed up on the wrong day so rescheduled for next day. Shop strips one of the lug nuts and can’t replace the fourth tire, they tell me to bring to another shop to resolve. Call Ford cause I need an oil change any as well. Tell them the situation they say no problem they can fix it, great head over to Ford...oil changed, lug nut removed/replaced and they swap out the 4th tire. All ready for summer travels.. This morning I notice a gas smell when driving, open the hood and find the oil cap is missing.
The service manager was beyond apologetic to the point it was starting to annoy me. They cleaned the engine gave me the next oil change on the house.

Over $5K to repair this. Through the insurance it is. Dropping it off to the body shop on Monday. Insane.I ran over a turkey yesterday on I-81 in PA driving home from FL.
😳
Took the day off to go fishing, just before the 35/36 split red battery light turns on. Okay, I got an intermittent battery light on a few months ago and ignored it, thinking I could stretch it for another few months. Headed to the next auto parts store on 35 to replace battery. Stopped at a light, brakes seemed a bit abnormal, AC blowing warm air and now realize the power steering doesn't work. Pulled over at an AutoZone and as expected, a broken belt. AAA towing called and no fishing today :-(

Stopped at an AZ just in case it was just a bad battery, unfortunately was a confirmed belt after popping the hood. Yeah, I could probably change the belt myself, but the car needs an oversized torx which I don't have and I'm about 30 miles from my tools. So getting it towed to the mechanic. Hopefully he can get to it today so I can take another day off to go fishing.wait, you had it towed from an autozone parking lot for a belt?
And Autozone didn't have that Torx bit and breaker bar in stock right?Stopped at an AZ just in case it was just a bad battery, unfortunately was a confirmed belt after popping the hood.
