Another sort of interesting shift that happened while no one was paying attention, Specialized no longer references class or max speed in the specs on any of their bikes now. They come with all 3 class stickers in the box and you put the one one on that matches the firmware the tech installs while building the bike. Or, I can just put Class 1 on everything no matter what 🤷‍♂️

We should live in a classless society. Just a dream, tho.

Calling bs on this. Class 3 has a throttle and I have not seen an option for one from the big S.

Class 3 is throttle optional. I have a Class 3 gravel bike, no throttle. Pedal assist to max speed of 28 mph. Of course, people on meat bikes cruise faster than that 🤣 .

Thought that is a class 2…… that’s the peddle assigned, 28 mph limit…. Throttle is class 3

This post? It says “ all 3 class stickers in the box” . “All 3” indicates 1,2,and 3… so bs.
BTW Amflow and all other bikes with the dji drive unit's now have the option to set the bike for class 1 or 3….. and you can make it even faster by setting the bike for mullet and put a 29er on the bike.
