How were conditions after all that snow melt/rain?
Around the lake was icy. Can't comment beyond that.Anyone ride after the thaw and refreeze?
Judging around my area it's gonna be a while. Any snow turned to ice which there will be plenty. Post where there is no or wasn't any snow prior to Monday's nights freeze. Temps don't look good for another week or more 😞Anyone ride after the thaw and refreeze?
I got eyes on these the other day. Think I just need to sweep from waterloo along rt80 to continental. @HiFiGuy --Appreciate the intel! Next time you take screen shots of the location, please try and zoom out a bit so I can get a better overall picture of where. Orienting North up also helps when looking at trail maps and planning multiple trees. Thanks for your efforts Teutonic! I saw your work first hand while following your tracks for a bit this afternoon. I went in from Continental drive and came across three trees down on continental drive trail/canal lower. Thanks again for clearing the trails!
And yes the snow conditions were very good today.
Sorry, had issues with Trailforks and switched over to Strava, which didn’t do much better. All three were on canal lower about 1-2 miles in from continental drive, the last one was just after going under the route 80 bridge. There is also a tree down on the incline plane parallel. I appreciate you efforts clearing the downed trees.I got eyes on these the other day. Think I just need to sweep from waterloo along rt80 to continental. @HiFiGuy --Appreciate the intel!
