Which tires are you running in 2026?

I run the Schwalbe G-One RS Pros in 40 during the spring summer, they're insanely fast and more durable than you'd expect. The file tread is more than enough for Bedminster and the like.

I've been running the RX Pro for rougher stuff. They're faster than I thought, and obviously the tread is more helpful than that of the RS. I've been toying with the idea of going to 45s, but I've ready marginal gains are the general consensus. True or False?

Another vote for the Schwalbe G-One RS Pro as an all-around tire. I'm running 45's. I have a set of Schwalbe Bite & Ultrabite 650b x 2.0 that I run for the chunkier stuff. More rolling resistance for sure but they're super plush and the grip is amazing. They quickly became my favorites.

Maxxis Rekon 2.4 is a solid choice for the rear if you're riding a lot of the rocky trails in North Jersey. It provides enough bite for the climbs while staying relatively light for the transitions. To deal with the decision between the different casing options, I looked at the puncture resistance scores on Bike Tyres XYZ before I placed my order. The 3C MaxxTerra compound seems to be the best middle ground for grip and longevity.
