"Downgraded" from GX transmission to Eagle 90 T-Type.
Since my other bike has 4 batteries I kinda wanted this one to be good to go whenever I ride it with minimal fuss. Initial pedal around the neighborhood was very impressive. Shifts great.

Figured I'd mount the new radial Schwalbe Tacky Chan ahead of the Iron Mountain Enduro. No such luck, it's going back as I couldn't even get the first bead onto the wheel. And yes, that's a Park Tool tire lever that's shattered on the box. Price of being an early adopter. Hope I don't run into this problem with the Romy

I got my TC from Fanatik. They're the only one I came across in my searches. Maybe it's a bad batch?

I just got both on by hand, no problems with either. I got them direct through Schwalbe, but I have to imagine they're all pretty close to the same batch this early in production.
These were replacing a Magic Mary Radial Trail Pro Ultra Soft (not the newest version), and an Albert Radial Trail Pro Soft. The Albert was by far the hardest. For what it's worth, I really liked the MM/Albert combo, but the Albert is so tall that it rubs the linkage in my Ripmo AF at anything beyond 50% of travel and it's actually starting to damage the linkage, so the tire is coming off.
Are you running the 35mm inner Ibis rims? This the new AF or older AF?
With DHRIIs or Assegais on both me and my wife's Ripmo AFs we have plenty of room but it's the last gen.

I’m on a ‘25 Ripmo AF V1 UDH. The wheels are i9 Enduro S 30mm internal. I’ve had a ton of different tires on this frame and never had an issue with rubbing until using the Albert. It’s got an incredibly tall profile. Not even knob height, just the profile itself.
I did have the Ibis Send 35mm internals on my older Ripley AF (sold last year) and they can definitely make tires difficult to mount. I’m sure you know by now, but with the asymmetrical channel, it makes a big difference which side of the channel you start on. I always had an easier time by mounting the wider side first, then finishing with the narrower side. With that said, I still broke 3 Park levers trying to mount a Continental Kryptotal Front in Enduro Soft.

Oooooh, I'm jealous!! Yea, I'm looking to replace a MM as well on the front of a Stumpy Evo. Romy went on the back of the Epic Evo, but I'm going to move it to the front (it's a Soft compound) and pick up a Romy in Mid compound for the back.
EDIT- How long was shipping from Schwalbe? NVM, I ordered one from them direct. 🤞
