More false pretence as of now I'm king and all you wannabies can suckle me...

😀 just trying to get ya motivated, I mean christ look at the road TT folks at six mile doesn't anyone like hills or rocks anymore. Seems to me more MTBers in the flatlands then around here...

I have been planning on getting a mahlon loop together for this thread, but I have not had the time. Next week I hope.

I hit it yesterday with my nephew, and we were attacked my swarms of horsefly's! It was like in a cartoon with the cloud of bugs following us. You stop your dead! Matty, how is it after a rain like this?

Can you give me a general direction to start. Do u start all the way down across the bridge or into the ST next to the lot?

I am a retard when it comes to reading Garmin maps. I can sort of get the idea of what trails were ridden but I have no freaking clue the order or direction. Looks like some backtracking, but again: i are is dum.

Also, it may be a combination of my poor endurance and love for simple trail loops, but my normal after-work crank session at DP usually runs:
First parking lot up Fire Road
Enter Yellow prior to second lot
Cut onto White at junction
Follow white all the way to lake, and continue back onto white to finish out on Blue
Head back towards lot 1, cutting into Yellow again at same entry point
Take new JORBA trail (on left) from Yellow all the way to lot 1

For most of you, the above is WAY too pedestrian I'm sure. But for a throwdown challenge, it's probably a sub 1 hour loop for the fast guys with almost no trail overlap.

Not like it matters anyway. Saw the 6MR time trial and had my jaw on the floor for a while. You're all crazy.

I started at the ST at lot...up to left on yellow to right on white stay white to rouge follow rouge to end right on orange left on white follow to damn left continue to white up and over hilltop to road cross road and up birch to yellow across and down St towards lot make right over stream making left follow up to top of climb making lefts to white turn right on white to right on red then left to white left on blue left to road to birch cross yellow and down to lot. This was supposed to be figure it out by using GPS but I can see some many are biting at the bit to do it I figured to write it down. Although if you don't know the park then it's all Chinese anyway. Lets go and get some....

The problem with following the Garmin is it doesnt tell you which trail to take on the overlapping trails, until it tells you your off course. A preride is def necessary but I'm ready to throw it down now.

Also anyone taking the rougue trail be carefull after the big downhill and rock runout there is a downed tree hidden in the ferns! Luckily I was paying close attention

Probably the only problem I've found with it. It should probably show an arrow on the trail to indicate which way you should be going.

Hence why it makes the game worth it, You must ride it a couple times. Good show Chris beat it and I'll revisit it again. Itake it your on the geared? Guess $25 is what you be looking for my sober comrade...

No money, but on my deathbed, i want total conciousness! Its all for the braggin rights. and hopefully get this party started around here

I failed again, well my garmin failed today. It just turned off when I was halfway down Red. Turned it back on and it only saved total time and miles. http://connect.garmin.com/activity/40639934. So I went 2 more miles from all my wrong turns because I the thing tells me I'm off course so I go back to see if I missed a turn but I didnt. So now I think I should have the course down. Matty is still the King

I give up! Last minute I decided to try it again.http://connect.garmin.com/activity/41422263 . It stopped recording again after the rogue so I started it back up only to flat a couple miles later. pin hole that wouldnt seal and I didnt have a tool to get my stem out and put a tube in. So late for work and another FAIL! I'm done with this park for now. Some strange forces at work here
