wanted- rack for honda civic

I am going down to the southland for my annual vacation. We are taking the wife's car this time and I was wondering if anyone had a rack for sale. Looking for something of the hitchmount variety, ideally something tray-like (yakima stick-up). A roof rack will work too although they seem a bit more complicated. If anyone has something that fits these parameters, I may be your huckleberry.

I believe Mr. Pearl is correct... the fit kits are different models....

i checked on thule... they both use the same footpacks, 480 traverse and 400 aero. Are the footpacks the critical detail here:hmmm:

The towers will be the same. The fit kits may vary

Yep, I think so. I just looked though and cant find any model number anywhere.

The kit part numbers are different. Honda changed body styles on the civic 06/07.
Doesn't mean you can't use the rack, you'd need the kit though. Cracksandracks.com had them around 75.00 just for reference.

I can't say enough good about the thule T2.

We barely sell roof racy any more. This has become out go to setup.

I did just see a Saris version that is about 1/2 the money.

If you have a hitch, you can borrow my t2 for a few days and see if you like using it.
