Local powder coating?

Is there any local places in Northern NJ that does powder coating that specializes in bike frames? I am fairly familiar with the process and I have heard of a few places around me doing auto parts. I am not willing to take a gamble on them messing up my 1500$ frameset.

This isn't local, but right over the bridge into PA I've had work done by Liquid Powder Coating in Yadley PA. Close enough to make a day trip out of it and goto Six Mile or something 😉

Single and Dual stage coatings. My Mary frame was done by them as well as Mandis Aluminum specialized frame almost 3 years ago and it still looks great.

I would trust any place that runs auto parts to run your bike frame. Note that powder-coating will make the frame unwarranty-able, but you already knew that 😉

Here is/was my Mary:

It was a while ago so I'm not sure what the totals exactly were. Mandi has the memory of an elephant so she may know. I think hers was a single stage, $70, and mine was closer to $110 (chrome base with neon green)

Just curious, what is it about the powder coat process that would prompt the mfgr to void the warranty? Would they also void for just re-paint?

You'd have to read the fine details, but I recall seeing any sort of finishing voiding it.

Not sure if this valid at all, but I always thought thy void warranty for paint to discourage people from covering up their logo. No logo - no free advertising when a rider goes by.

Amazing, thank you for the quick response!

not looking for anything crazy just want to fix a few scratched. White base and Maybe clear

Peerless coatings in Hawthorne ,NJ, right next to my woodshop on goffle road, they do great work
