Sony Vega and twixor for a NooB?

Is it realistic to think I can buy this software and make slow motion videos and a few decent edits? My computer skills are limited to typing, posting pictures, editting with whatever software comes on a pc, I think its microsoft, and an old fashioned F8 safestart after a "free" session ends badly😱.

I like the Vega S/W, it's pretty powerful and has all the tools you would want. But... in my experience the learning curve is pretty steep and you will need to spend some quality time learning to use the tool. There are probably easier video editing programs out there for the more casual user.
