6 Mile Run Conditions

It rained pretty good till about 5 am, I wouldn't think they'd be in good shape yet. Hoping by tomorrow but I won't hold my breath.

I was planning on coming tomorrow before all the rain came and I saw that it was a TM day. I'll stick to the south tomorrow since tjhose trails will be dried out by the AM

More to come on the white trail. i haven't hit those 2 yet on the bike. Still easy to clear I would assume??

I did about 4 hours of trail work this week with a 30 lb pack. I am going to be strong sooner or later..

Well the first one looked pretty soft so I chickened out and just manualled it which was smooth. The second one (the kind of hip) I went for with "old" speed and cased pretty hard but next time I will know it's coming and go for it faster.

Look for 2 new reroutes on the white that we put in yesterday.

These should be well received as they are both awesome.

Also note that the Bridge by the picnic table is on it's last legs. That should be replaced by this weekend as well.

Look at you, Busy Beaver.

I need to get out there for an after-school ride soon, not ridden 6 Mile yet in 2013.

Made it out there with my buddy for his virgin mtb ride. He was shot out at the end, but the smile on his face said he had a good time. The re-routes on the white trail were awesome. Only hit White, Orange, and Red, but the conditions were PERFECT:getsome:

Tacky goodness tonight. New reroutes are cool. They're gonna need a little bit to firm up and smooth out but I can tell they're gonna rip. Cleared the doubles fine but it definitely takes more effort than the old iteration. I like.

I blew out of work early today to hit the trails. The conditions were AWESOME! My saddle bag busted open somewhere between the blue trail and the where the orange/red split. Luckily I heard my keys hit the ground or I would have been f'd. Unfortunately my phone had already fallen out 🙁 It's an LG so if you happen to find it let me know.

Just got a call from a guy named Greg who found my phone. Thank you soooooo much!!😀

I was in the Halters kit following Lou on the cross bike, where you see us!?

I think I did on orange trail. I was riding a black Jet 9. I saw a few guys on cross-bikes. Passed a trio of them heading in the opposite direction as I was heading back towards Canal Rd. Saw a good number of riders out there yesterday - most with helmets for a change.

I also passed Baclava who was asking everyone if they had lost a phone. Glad to hear he found its owner.

Conditions were absolutely perfect. So glad I postponed my ride a day. I felt good on the bike for a change as well adn put in a 1:45 lap time. Not great, but for my current fitness level I'm happy. 🙂

Were you the guy with the fancy yellow shoes? :hmmm:

EDIT: Never mind I just read the last part of your post. I'm sure I saw you regardless, but I'm a girl and I don't really look at bikes!
