6 Mile Run Conditions

I hope they found that guy. Trails were perfect tacky tonight. Saw 6 people on my whole ride, and 4 did not have helmets. I also passed a guy on a DH bike. Can't see how riding one of those at 6mile could be fun but to each his own. Jdog, I like what you're doing on the White Trail. Quite a surprise when I went to jump my 2 favorite doubles.

More to come on the white trail. i haven't hit those 2 yet on the bike. Still easy to clear I would assume??

I did about 4 hours of trail work this week with a 30 lb pack. I am going to be strong sooner or later..

😛 Jeremy is right 😛

If we ever meet I can tell you glamorous stories of doing E911 testing. Sitting in a shield room. Overnight. Making 50 calls to each PSAP to make sure the operator could see the correct location.

Who the phone head now?

The little drizzle we had was just enough rain to firm the trails up. You can't ask for better conditions.

Notice the red six mile dirt on the tires and the CR muck on the frame; Primo!

You ever clean that bike? I don't think ive ever seen it clean

This is sort of my fault. I never clean my bikes either. I just lube the chains and check the air. I do full yearn downs more than once a year.

The jump out of the woods into the small clearing? Those took me off guard when I saw them. I was so used to how they used to be. My favorite double has to be that one on Blue trail just after the bridge near Blackwell Mills.

To be honest, I would have loved to ride 6MR on my old M-1. The way I had that bike set up it would rail tight corners. Despite 8" of travel, that bike handled like a BMX bike compared to my Jet 9. When I get my WFO built up later this year, I'll take it out to 6MR... just because... 😛 ...29" wheels and a Dorado should be interesting... :hmmm:

I think conditions were perfect this afternoon, nice and tacky. Had my best ride of my life today. Set personal records, now they're nowhere near the leaders on strava but I feel like a million bucks. Didn't want to leave but work and family call.

It rained pretty good till about 5 am, I wouldn't think they'd be in good shape yet. Hoping by tomorrow but I won't hold my breath.
