Giant trance exp

So I had the taste of full suspension and love it. The best fit is the trance 2 in a medium. I had the chance to ride a 2017 and it was perfect. Anyone have any exp with the 16 year model since I'd rather buy a used one. Any pros cons or should I definitely stick with the 17.

The 17 Trance has a different geo.
The 16 and the 17 are different bikes.

BTW, how tall are you? I am looking into a 17 Trance myself and curious about sizing

Also boost spacing which should be able to run 29rs but someone will need to confirm that.

I'm about 5'9" and it was spot on. The 17 was awesome and can be had for 2200 new plus tax. I see some 16 models and can't wait to hear about them

check that with a dropper that the large will still fit you, since we are close to the same size
on my medium Transition and small Orbea, the droppers are almost bottomed out
droppers are not like seatposts which can go down to the seat

I just found a medium at curts cyclery in nazerath. Awesome dealership. He said no more larges were available so if you find one scoop it up

2300 out the door but had to pay cash for that price, there was a place in woodside nj, rt 17 area I think they had a large. Giants run slightly big so depending your height of say up to 5 10 a medium would be spot on

I know a place that Probaly still has a large demo if your willing to drive to woodward pa. I second guessed 1500 for the medium, called 3 days later and it was sold

The dealer came back to me with 2275 out the door. I countered him with 2200 cash out the door 🙂
