Looks like the DC trip went really well for you guys...... 🙂 way to get creative.

Great riding the trails today, I got 3.5 miles in and noticed my GPS was off, duh, I'm sure I started it.
So my Strava looks like I fell from the sky into the woods and started my ride. Still got over an hour in though.

You got this! Keep it going! We’re at the turn around point and now we’re heading back.... towards the beer tent..... priorities. 🙂

I'm on the fence today. I won't be able to ride until around 9pm tonight, which isn't a big deal... But I did something wicked to my neck yesterday. Not even sure what happened, but it hurts worse than the cracked rib I've been riding with for a month. I'm going to be really disappointed if I have to drop just after the halfway point...

Did you fall or just sleep in a funny position? A fall and maybe rest is best.... sleep funny and just find a straight road.... you’d be pissed st yourself if it was just a one day crique in the neck that did you in. Pedal on. 🙂

It’s not just a kink in the neck... been there many times. This feels different... almost like it’s in the spine. On day 2 now and it’s only gotten worse. You’re right, I will be pissed if I skip today and then this goes away in another day. I have my lights charging for tonight so I haven’t given up yet, but it’s gonna take a lot of will power and beer.

It may be time to grab a wahoo Bolt. For real.

Well... Strava and/or my phone effed me again today, so I might not be able to wait...

July 16 - Half way to the end!
I go outside. Start Strava. Get the green "GPS aquired" message, and start my ride. Considering I have well over 200 miles over 16 days (this started on June 30 for me), my legs don't feel that bad. I even felt good enough to do a moderate effort on one of the sprint segments. Then I get to the half way point at the Pennsbury Manor Boat Launch. Timer at 45 min. Miles= 0.

Are you kidding me? Shit. So I saved it at that point.

And started over for the return ride. Which fortunately did record.

Technology has not been my friend today (weird program issues at work today as well).

Day 16 - Picked a bad time to ride. Headed in a different direction than my usual local ride. Hit Edison / Clark / Westfield in the heat.

My daughter got me a Go Pro so have been making video's of some of the rides to share with her. My day 12 ride was the Jersey City waterfront going south. I thought the views and route was pretty entertaining and easier parking than in NYC. Plus no Tunnel Toll. Went past the end of Liberty Park and found the patch continues past the golf course and a cool waterfront community
