add a core workout 3-4 times a week, do 5 sets of planks while watching the news or somethingVery true. I had the same problem at your age. I was slightly heavier than I am now and could not a flight of stairs, especially going down, without pain in my knees. That's when I started changing my eating habit, started going to the gym and bought and used the stationary bike that I am back on now. I went from 240 lbs to about 180 lbs rather quickly, at some point I was loosing 1 lb every day. My knees are fine now, even though most of the weight is back. Working on it.
