Are these not sold for MSRP? Or maybe it depends on the shop and the bike brand.

Or is this the end of model-year sales time in which case they may be discounted?

Supposedly SC's are price controlled from what I understand. When I bought my HT, no one in NJ was discounting them. I went to CT to get my HT and was able to register it with SC at the discounted cost I paid without an issue. Mine is a 2018 MY purchased April of 2018

Which one did you get, the 'regular' or the 'LT' ? The Megatower supposedly replaces the LT, I was going to pull the trigger on a LT at some point then I decided to go with another LT...

I've seen the plasma cutter at work once but never used it. What material do you need to cut?

I am surprised that to register it with SC you have to indicate the price paid. I would think that what would Matter is that it was purchased from an authorized dealer.

Are you saying Santa Cruz has only 2 Hightowers of your size remaining in their inventory of 2019 Hightowers, not the Hightower LT?
The Hightower is on my short list of Santa Cruz bikes to demo.

Probably referring to stock on hand, they probably have more getting in later from wherever they have them built. Or it could be the last 2 LT since they're being replaced by the Megatower (not likely since the LT has the same frame as the 'regular' HT with a different rear triangle).
