After seeing someone's China made Canyon seatpost crack mid way into a long ride, I'm not doing the generic carbon, especially if heavier than 180lbs

I have used china carbon handlebars in the past and they were ok.

The one I'm looking at is bxt bikes it's boost and about 290.

I am sold on lite bicycle wheels so I'll pick up rims and build my own

You need it, now the you got the XC, smooth trail riding covered with the RDO, you need to address that rather unexplored ground between trail and DH that this new model attacks so well!

On a side note, sounds like Santa Cruz waited for @Kangdoy to place his order on the HT before they came up with the Megatower...

...and I found out that the frame is arriving the factory 1st week of April. Grrrhhh!

mostly the KLW gorge or North Branch o RV/Spruce Run
Just like riding, I don't like to drive, but sometimes get out to Pequest or Black River
If I have time prefer fly, but it's been a few years, as time never seems enough at of late

One of these days, I am going to show up with 27.5x2.6 on the RDO because as @serviceguy pointed out... 2.6 is technically not plus 😛

Surprising that if the RDO is a racing hard tail that it would fit 2.6 wide tires on it.

I ride a Specialized Epic and it won’t fit wider than 2.25 on rear, although it’s a 29er. And 2.35 up front depending on brand.
