I'm working on that with the park. We need something that's fairly durable as previous attempts have been ripped off and thrown on the side of the trail.
Thank you for turning around :)
Everyone should assume that after about 9.30a the trails will thaw and not be ridable. Maybe earlier if they are in full sun.
If this is happening at the start of your ride, please turn around and ride the tow path.
Riding on the side of the trail doesn’t help, it just damages the sides and widens the trail.
Freeze-thaw cycles are in full effect. Do not ride Six Mile Run if its not frozen.
If your bike is muddy when you're finished you are destroying the trails.
Don't post it on Strava. Hide your ride.
If there's any doubt if it will be muddy, don't ride. Don't make the hour trip. There are signs...

Thanks to the NICA crew, we had our best turout ever! 15 people working together got 5 parts of the trail fixed.
Also had @njmark @Juggernaut @AHerrm @njmark and @snashters join the fun.
I don't think it's difficult.
Parking - Ballfield (Chimney Rock Rd), Gilbride, or Newmans. Most would park at the Ballfield as it's the biggest and kinda central. Park at Gilbride if you want to get to Cromwell and Hawk Watch.
Think of it as color sections instead of individual trails:

I think we're still on for tomorrow. I've got one bigger project and a few smaller ones in the area near the steel bridge.
Looking like a good turnout. We might start with a little snow on the ground, but it should warm up a bit. Dress in layers you can remove as digging will warm you up :)...
