It’s a dry heat here. Along with a little trail side excitement. Just hold your breath and ride thru it. The firemen had it under control.

Shipping wasn’t an issue once I learned that ‘well packaged’ bikes fly as a regular checked bag without oversize surcharges. It fit nearly perfect into a bike frame box and I used miles which included the first checked bag.

A morning unicycle ride before the sun came over the bluffs. It’s certainly not in northern NJ. I did see one or two rocks in the trail.

Lots of long tunnels and high trestles today.

Came across two Black Rat snakes about 30’ apart today. Both are in this photo.

Yesterday the bugs were not bad at all. Just a couple of deer flies.

I was pretty sure I left my steel coffee cup up there.

I was out working this morning. Trail surface is dry but soft. There’s a lot of moisture in the soil. Passing showers along with a freeze/thaw tonight into tomorrow morning will probably make it wet in the morning.
