Last night's solo bloom of the moon flower. Probably only 1 again tonight.

Another late tomato season. Picked 50 black and yellow cherry also.

Picked Friday. Made stuffed peppers with the red bell, poblano and mexibell peppers. Didn't use up all the poblanos.



I tried morning glory on the trellis two years ago. Now they self seed and have been growing on the trellis and elsewhere near by every year. Here are some on the fence.

Third season with these, and they'll last at least one more.
Each is in/on a rolling tray that holds some water from the sprinkler - so even in an extended drought, they can wick-up water.

Hard part is prep in the spring - can't just take a shovel and start turning things over -
we dig some out into a wheelbarrow, add "stuff" and put it back - I feel like we should have a pile somewhere, and just dump/compost/refill
I just do what i'm told!
