I thought this was really interesting about how ideal reach differs between HT and FS. I haven't ridden a HT in years- but was always surprised by how 'short' the geo charts were in comparison. Great explanation of this with the marker on the wall!

I rode today and had to do a fair amount of hiking/turning back due to standing water. River bed was fully flooded, lower trail (white) had muddy pits but Three Amigos was largely okay.

I’ve had many droppers (worst being original Reverb). Thought my Transfer was solid. AXS works flawlessly but not sure if worth the additional cost. It’s also heavy..but the remote is awesome.

I was out yesterday when it was 22 and did a four hour ride. Left when Garmin was a 60% and dropped down to 9% in just 3 hours - going into battery preservation mode. Ran down really quickly! When I got home, took some time inside before it would begin to charge.

I had the old XTR di2. While DA di2 is flawless, off-road di2 was a mess. Lever feel was great but issues with dropped chains and wires disconnecting during crashes was beyond frustrating when racing. Eagle Axs has been solid.
