Convince me to buy an AXS Dropper Post

I’ve gotten sick of my Fox Transfer and find myself tempting to switch to the AXS post. Anyone ridden one for a while that would recommend it?

While my experience with droppers is somewhat limited, I can say it’s an amazing post. My Bronson came with a Reverb Stealth...it was ok but a problem. My Farley has a One Up post.....it’s ok. But the AXS is leaps and bounds better and I haven’t touched it since I installed it. If you can ride an XL frame we can arrange a test ride if you like.

I’ve had many droppers (worst being original Reverb). Thought my Transfer was solid. AXS works flawlessly but not sure if worth the additional cost. It’s also heavy..but the remote is awesome.

It’s so simple to use. And if you have 2 bikes with the seat post diameter, you can swap back and forth in 5 minutes.

thats how batteries tend to work, you charge them, then after you use them they die (and they stay dead until you charge them again)🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

i know this new fangled technology is hard for you

Haha wouldn't take a charge after hours in the charger

You can position AXS dropper trigger and lockout lever near each other under the bars on the left. No need for twistlock or over bar mounted lockout.

I want to get one of these. I've never had a dropper. Are there any gotchas I should know about?

My new bike has a 400mm post and set to min depth it's about 10mm too short. Assume, I will be OK with a 440 AXS. Is minimum insertion the same as a traditional post?

Travel options are 100, 125, 150, 170mm. I'm leaning towards 125 for ... reasons? I have no idea. 5" seems like plenty.

Get the longest travel post that will fit.

You don't think you need it, but once you have the longer travel, you realize how much better it is.

I have an axs drivetrain on my scalpel and I LOVE it....but $800 for a dropper...ouch....My oneup was $200 and it just works just fine. If $800 isnt a big deal for a dropper tho, id totally get one
