FYI - The Morris County Park Commission is in the process of changing and adding trail colors at Tourne. The maps in the in the kiosks show the new layout. Trailforks has also been updated (Trailforks Map). Note: Green, green dot, and blue are the new trails for 2023.

This is crazy to keep closing the park over these dog/bear encounters. Of course a bear will protect its cubs if dogs chase them. The park makes it clear that bears live here and dogs should be on a leash:
