Does anyone know if Park Pools grease (Polylube 1000) is okay on carbon frames? I need to service the shock and the frame manual just says to grease the mounting bolts on reassembly. I’m not sure if I need some specific grease here. Thanks!

Conditions are mixed right now. The upper trails are in good shape, clear and and mostly dry. Animal chute, Warthog and the exit to Boulderdash need another few days to dry out. Large trees down: 1) Animal chute (you can walk over it) 2) Lower chute (requires lifting the bike over) 3)...

Checked out HM before the thaw this morning. Conditions were as 1 out of 5. High Mt still needs 2-3 more days to heal from winter. The trails still have 2-5" of crusty dense snow alternating with fully saturated frozen mud. Riding this weekend above freezing will definitely damage the tails.

The short loop around the Mountain Lakes swimming area was packed from hikers and ridable (2 trees down). The rest was impossible even with 5" tires. There is still 6"+ of heavy snow. It is going to be difficult riding until more trails are packed down from the hikers/dog walkers.

I heard it is no good. A solid sheet if ice.
