Did you go riding... how's the trails?

I did not go. Hopefully all this rain washes everything away and we can start with a clean slate of dirt again to make trail conditions much easier to predict.

I hiked up there today, parked at the circle and did ancients to damn lake. It was very wet and muddy the white trail back from damn lake was a swamp.

Stopped by the red trail head this morning and its still covered with snow.
Wishing I had a fat bike...

Checked out HM before the thaw this morning. Conditions were as 1 out of 5. High Mt still needs 2-3 more days to heal from winter. The trails still have 2-5" of crusty dense snow alternating with fully saturated frozen mud. Riding this weekend above freezing will definitely damage the tails.

Route: College to the circle. Trails seen: Glass, Secret,Wolf,Indians, Red, Yellow, White.

Rode ancients today. Lower has a big tree down at the very beginning near orange. Then another one down at the bottom near dam lake. White connector trail is a mess. Upper ancients plateau and ganja farm are still snow covered. Bottom of upper ancients is good to go. Go on out and enjoy!
