NYS parks are heavily influenced by the hikers. I would not be shocked one bit if mountain bikes were removed from all trail access . I have a buddy that is involved with Blue mountain and there are a bunch of hikers pushing to get mountain bikes off the trails even though it was mountain bikers...

Love those cranks, I ended up going with a 28 tooth chain ring to compensate for the reduced leverage. If you are struggling with the climbs, look into one of those.

In Westwood there are about 20 e dirt bike riders on the roads…. All under 18…. And of course none of them are riding in gear, most times their helmets hanging on the handle bars.

I run a Sram nx 11-50 cassette and a kmc e bike 12 speed chain. I change the chain every 500miles, the cassette has 2000 miles on it and it’s still good. Old 90 nm Brose though.
