    yea, it was initially because we bought the house before we got married, and had both established ourselves individually, needed some way to fairly pay for joint expenses without hindering independence. Ended up keeping it after marriage bc it just works.

    if you replace the isolators and other ancillary stuff its actually cheaper to do the quickstrut (at least when i last did it)

    monroe stuff is pretty solid, maybe not top of the line, but for OE equivalent its a good, has lasted as long as OEM in my past experience.

    iv had really good luck with monroes quickstruts, close to 50k on them in my truck now and no problems. F that spring compressor crap, dont save nearly enough to justify that aggravation.
