Check this thing out on the snow dog website. This could double as a plush ride for @chainsawer and as a winter groomer.

    Tourne County Park Conditions

Got about an hour hike in late this afternoon, trampled paths are developing. I did not bother with snow shoes since it was late and I had my daughter’s doggie. I believe it would be rideable tmrw, some spots better than others as to be expected. Give it a shot and post up your results.

Maybe that’s on the high side, I really didn’t make a point of measuring. I can tell you the maze loop is 2.77 miles and my legs were cooked. (Had done an endurance ride on the trainer in the morning for good measure). Regardless I don’t see it being rideable this weekend without a lot more work.

It was pretty fluffy and deep in the there. Maybe 20-30 inches give or take. It was packing down under foot pretty well. But I know from experience that one or two passes is not enough to make it rideable. Where’s a quad (to groom) when you need one.

Any updates on trail conditions/rideability? Might be able to squeeze in a ride after an appointment in the area tmrw. Worse case scenario, I’ll bring the snow shoes as a back-up plan.

Put down one snow shoe track around the maze. Will need several more passes before it would be rideable, But hey it’s a start. Only two small tree’s that need attention, but can be had with hand saw (if I didn’t forget it). The picture with the snow shoes was right by the car, I went back to a...

    Sussex Bike

Quick shout-out to Jason for getting my bikes tuned up! I’m a bit challenged in keeping up with some of this stuff, and he took care of everything. Very reasonable rates, extremely through and he explained exactly what was needed and why. Great service from a great guy! Hurry in the tune-up...

Dry January 2026 (The Sober Thread)

Like others I made the choice to jump start better fitness/diet by going dry for January (started 12/26). Good results down six pounds. Don’t think I’ll stay dry but thinking about cutting back and only having an IPA out and not keeping them in the fridge, because I don’t have great will power.
