    E-bikes are a thing

This is a sad situation all around for everyone. Totally avoidable. Hopefully some good will come from this and force people to care more about the potential dangers associated with putting these death machines in the hands of those who are too young to ride them responsibly.

For Sale Brand New Dell Inspiron 15 laptop - $400

I have a brand new, never opened laptop available for sale. I want to keep it unopened so the picture is just of the box it came in and the specs sticker that basically tells you all you need to know. Highlights include 15.6" touchscreen display, AMD Ryzen 7 7730U Processor, 16GB memory, 512GB...

What Bird Did You See Today?

Looks like a family of Morning Doves (I think) decided to make the flood lights above the garage their home.

It's 2026 Is an Emtb in your near future?

It's a sad situation but the mother was warned but obviously chose to ignore it and not properly warned her son of the consequences.

EBikes.. How much power and travel?

What you're suggesting is a single speed with motor assist. So when you're speeding down a flat straightaway you'll be pedaling a mile a minute without a high gear. Then you're talking about a powered pinion gear box. I believe Pinion, the company, has one. Apparently not ready for prime time...

EBikes.. How much power and travel?

I totally agree that if and when they come out with an ebike specific drive train I think an 8-speed system is more than adequate. With fewer speeds the chain, cassette, and chain ring can be much beefier than the current 12-speed system. The only reason it went up to 12 speeds is to gain as...

EBikes.. How much power and travel?

More power doesn't interest me because it is not useful to me. Lighter weight, smaller motor, decent range, and thinner down tube (stealthy) interests me the most. I'm not against high powered ebikes for those who want it, I just wish manufactures would also consider a version that's not so...

I love Spring Drive. I currently have a GS with Spring Drive but I'm really intrigued by the UFA (Ultra Fine Accuracy) version of it that came out just last year.

I'm glad it has worked out for you so far. I just don't like the fact that the watches, although new, don't come with manufacturer's warranty when purchased from them. You do get Jomashop's own 2-year warranty but I've heard bad stories from customers who needed warranty service. Not a lot but...

This may very well be true but I never go on other people's opinions alone before I put my own hard earned money on it because other people's opinions and what they look for may be different than mine. I may or may not like what other people like. I only go by what I think.

    Watches

I'm used to using count down watches and 3 of my divers have them. I prefer to set the amount of time I'm limited to to the minute hand and let it count down to zero. This way I don't have to remember and calculate how much time is left. Once it reaches zero then time's up.

I've considered getting a watch from Jomashop but I haven't been able to pull the trigger on that yet.

TBH I don't know much about Monta. I've never seen, touch, felt, or tried them on. Specs alone doesn't sell me on a watch. I love the Longines history but I think they're also very well made and they feel great. No sharp edges on my Masters Collection and it sits very nice on my wrist.

Saturday works better. I'm heading out to Short Hills Mall so we can meet some time before then unless you're going to go there as well.

Non-matching but I think they meet all your requirements. Rear wheel has a 7-speed Shimano cassette. I don't have the shifter. All yours if you want them.

I'm a big fan of Longines and their HydroConquest punches way above its weight class. However, my favorite new release for this year is Grand Seiko's new UFA Divers in Blue and Green. Once they're in the boutiques I'm going to check them out. I've been wanting a UFA for a while. I went to a GS...

I might. I'll have to check in my garage when I get home. Remind me if you don't hear from me.
