2017 Monster Energy SX

I'll be at MetLife Saturday for the main event. I may have an extra ticket or two. Will see. Racing wayway and then boogie home to boogie back to MetLife. Anyone else going? I have extra pit passes if anyone needs some.

I was thinking about it, but my wife is on call, so thats a deal breaker.....Went to 3 in a row that were a complete bore...finally there is actually a points chase going on and I cant go.
 
Sucks I can't go this year living about 2 minutes away with traffic . Had to switch up my on call schedule for work to be free for mtb races
 
at the beginning of the season I wrote "I root for Tomac but it's getting tough. The guy finds a way to make himself fight through the entire race. He either can't get out of the gate and has to work his way up to a podium, or he's in the top 5 to start and fades by the end."

I was completely wrong, there was nothing tough about rooting for Tomac this year. He's killed it out there and the last race he showed who wants the trophy.
 
last time I watched SX, ricky johnson and jeff ward were the top dogs.....but I tuned in to watch it today.....extremely exciting, from the qualifiers all the way to the main......but I have a question: I think it was during one of the heats, one guy, grant (on a kawasaki?), blatantly plowed into the corner and intentionally T-boned another rider (stewart?), taking both of them out.....and some other guy just rode around the carnage to qualify. Are there any rules in place when someone comes barreling into a corner with the intention of just taking out another rider? It seemed completely on purpose like he just rammed into him to take him out. I was shocked that there was no talk about disqualification or maintaining his position and having it count as it was the last turn.........he was like a heat seeking missile with the only intention of slamming into him.....just curious, I guess rubbin's racing, but this seemed a little too much....especially with the susceptibility of an injury with such speed and power involved.......
