2017 snow report

neighbor's kid brought friends over to use my hill without first getting permission. And this is after I packed in two nice shoots for my kids. It's trashed now....

Did you go? How was it? I didn't get out today, but I'm hoping to get out tomorrow. I think we have plans to climb and grab dinner with friends later though, so Watchung would probably work best for me to get to Gravity Vault after.

Good times. Had a bad case of icing on skis on way back, but otherwise all was good. I may go to New Paltz Saturday.
 
Is anyone bike commuting in the post mini-snowpocalypse? The city of Hoboken posted the below picture of the bike lane on Facebook that makes up 60% of my commute so I gave it a shot. The one thing they forgot to do was plow a way to get to the bike lane! I ended up doing a cyclocross-esque barrier hop over the snow berm, remounted, and rode off into the sunset/slush.

anyone been to Mountain Creek in the past few days?
Shawnee was the best I've seen all year last Sunday, I have 2 more tix at MC but the reports there look terrible
 
7:00 in beautiful branchburg, nj
2" of snow, and it has switched over to freezing rain. soon to be rain.
 
quarter sized snowflakes now hitting the Wangchungs
about 6 inches but accumulating fast

It's been a slow start but it just kicked up a gear or 3. Huge flakes, and a lot of them.
