What time is ok to start drinking on a snow day without being called an alchie?

the trick is bridging breakfast to lunch - mimosa, vodka cranberry, irish coffee. All acceptable. martini lunch should bridge to happy hour, which starts
at 3:00 - and that is two-fers, so you can double up. then an aperitif, wine with dinner, apropos after dinner drink (port, scotch), then a couple beers
while watching sports center. another when watching the dvr walking dead from last sunday.

good luck functioning tomorrow!

oh, we'll be drinking with you - cause ya can't let people drink alone. so all good.

was sleeting then back to snow again
this is an interesting Noreaster, seems like the precip rotating counter clockwise is cause in the flip flop between snow sleet then snow again. Southern front stronger than north, giving rain in south jersey. Time for first clearing

anyone been to Mountain Creek in the past few days?
Shawnee was the best I've seen all year last Sunday, I have 2 more tix at MC but the reports there look terrible

You're correct about Shawnee, the past two weekends had the "best" conditions of the season so far... This storm should certainly help extend until the end of the month with some decent surfaces. Someone mentioned Creek blows edge to edge so the base didn't get as deep and caused a quicker melt off.

We'll be back on the 24th for our last day in the Poconos. Killington this wkend and Breck/Abasin for spring break 🙂😎😀🙂😎😀

It's been sleeting for a while. Did my first pass with the shovel, plus two neighbors and the plug. We've accumulated around 5-6 inches so far. If it doesn't turn back to snow, I don't see it getting any deeper.

just did a first clearing and mother nature only added an inch or two while out. Parked my car in the wrong spot so gotta drive it into the street to dust off. Plows haven't come through yet so no reason to do the hydrants. Wfh for a bit and go ride the fat. Oh yeah, drink beer for the lost calories.

About 8in or so at my house...More like ice pellets then snow...like impossible to pack into a snowball...suck.

We're about 2 miles from the ocean, in northern Monmouth County.

Less than an inch of snow, lots of wind, and mostly rain/sleet.

I've got over a foot in denville but too much blowing around to really measure.

The big question is will Allaire be rideable soon? How much did that area get?

Why does everyone want to ride Allaire?
I thought the fatbikers would be looking for snow?
I'm looking forward to laying some tracks on my skis.
