Garmin Fail 💩
50/50 ride/trim again at Baldpate. Another 250’ of trimming progress and this area is super thick.
Somewhere around :35 into my ride I noticed my Garmin had shut off for some unknown reason. The link is for a manual activity so I doesn’t count. Fart noise

19/31 A failed beginner ride but a nice evening out non the less. Rode with @Mike A and @dhsean so it was fun. Temps were not bad as there was a bit of a breeze to start the ride.

20/31: I initially labelled the ride 21/31 on Strava, wishful thinking. Got an earlyish start and rolled the KVSP Anarchy loop. Lots of wildlife - bears are pretty commonplace these days, huge buck, but that EAGLE! Temps were cool but the air was thick as soup...cold soup. GAZPACHO!

Do you think most of the new owners know that they leveled a pretty creepy old Psychiatric hospital for their new townhouses. I can't believe that they removed all of the old underground tunnels.

so, after an alaska / COVID+ hiatus i'm finally back on the bike after more than a week. i think i should be able to get to 20 days...as long as my knee holds up!

here's today's ride...checking out my game cam footage - nothing of note in over a week (just a couple of deer, and a few MTBers, and one photobomb thanks to @wanger114)

i've also been actively scoping out the northwest corner of the Edith Stevens woods...some property very recently acquired by middlesex county, who then entered into a conservation easement with Edison Twp...i think there's at least another mile worth of trail hidden in them there woods!
