24" Mountain Bike- Boys

I'm looking for a decent 24" bike for my 8 year old son. He had a Schwinn 20" that is just too small. I tried him on a XS (12.5") 26er that he rides fine on the street, but is just too big for the woods.

Looking for something nicer (prefer aluminum to limit weight) like the GF Precaliber or Spec Rockhopper. Let me know what you have and what you want for it.

Also have an older Giant (size XS) or a Schwinn 20" MTB (has gears) that I could throw into the deal if interested. 😀

I'm with ya' there Tim...this is what my daughter wants for her b-day, so I guess I'm gonna' be buyin' new as well. Hopefully she won't have a monster growth spurt like Tim Jr. did and not outgrow it in a year :cry:

I am going to buy my older son a 24" precaliber from Cycle Craft... Perhaps we can get a volume discount!!!

FWIW: I have been dealing with "Lucky" at the shop. He has been very patient and helpful.
