$50 Infinit Cash

I just had a sesamoidectomy so my race season is f---ed. I'm hoping to be soft pedaling by the fall...but we'll see.

Anyway, I have a $50 Infinit cash certificate that is expiring 3/31 that I now won't be using. Is there a fellow racer who would like this for free (NICA or adult)?

Is this product any different than Nunn? What is a good blend for biking?
It is- I've tried many different drinks through the years (Accelerade, Gu Brew, EFS, etc.) and for long distance rides I find Infinit the best. You can create your own custom blend to set calories, amount of electrolytes, caffeine, etc. When I do long endurance races I don't have to take Gu's or anything- I get all my calories from my 'Go Far' blend. For shorter ride though, I still like Skratch.

☝️Exactly! Infinit for long distances, skratch for short. I have my infinit mixed custom and it has some protein and extra sauce to help with cramping. Best part is if something needs to be tweaked they will usually do another mix and send it to you for free + shipping.

Is it considered long distance above 3 hours that they mention? One bottle an hour seems like a lot to carry.

For a typical 3 hour training ride, I wouldn't use it- but anything longer and I do. For a 3 hour race, I'd use it as I'm going through calories faster with the higher intensity.

On my MTB I just use a hydration pack, and on the road I would carry 3 bottles with one mounted underneath my downtube.

when I broke my sesimoid into 4 pieces, no one mentioned I could have that fucker removed. took a year before it didn't hurt. My treatment was boot for weeks, followed by acting like it didn't happen.

I've been dealing with sesamoid pain for ~10 years. Have been somewhat successful with orthotics until it just got worse again last year. Hopefully you're pain free now?

Yes, it gradually got better, thank you...its not perfect, but I barely notice it anymore. Hope you get relief as well.
