6 Mile Run Conditions

FYI there are two big trees down on blue ~ 2.5 miles in from canal lot. First one I could ride under with a tuck, second one I could barely drag my bike under - it's a huge tree and totally blocking the trail.

Rode yesterday afternoon- Dirt was perfect but some corners were slick where there is exposed rock. Parts of blue need some TLC
There are only 4 rocks at 6M and none of them are slick. As for tlc needed...well...

never mind

I had planned on a long ride at 6M yesterday, but got hit with the most excruciating headache that I actually got nauseous while riding so had to slowly, and I mean even The Hubby would have complained I was slow, head back to the lot.

my already less than ideal ride was made worse by the fact that some boneheads have been clearing out all the HUGE debris we drug onto closed trails. I was amazed that people take the time to clear it. Some of it was big. So big I couldnt drag it back with out help. Is it possible someone is doing this thinking they are helping to clear storm debris?

hey @jdog maybe when we close a trail we should put up a sign "trail closed by order of the park"? I will happily make and post them.
a paper sign would be cheap and easily stapled to a log across the trail.

Bummer. I was glad to see the two shortcuts I closed on blue are still closed

You just need to be persistant with the closures. Some of the shortcuts I have closed down have been reopened a dozen times. It sucks, but it needs to be done. Not sure what else to do. Signs will be torn down

There's a tree down just past the other tree down just after the new section with the bowl.
The people who use shortcuts don't have a soul.

I'll get em sorted this week.

Did some big dirt moving this am near Jacques. No more ruts in the trail

Lots of water diversion features. This is sort of an experiment.

Very small chance I will be out this Sunday am. I will post back here if I can sort it.

NICE! Awesome to see the progress here. Loving the new berms adding some flow to parts of that trail too 🙂 rock on \m/

I noticed the new bumps on Sunday and forgot to mention it. I liked the new flow. I also like your new "e-bobcat" as pictured.

Poop has been there since Thursday morning as far as I know. It looked so fresh (not ridden over) that I thought I was eventually going to run into the horse itself.

Quick question: How crowded are the trails on Saturday at 6am?
