6 Mile Run Conditions

I got a pretty good rash on my forearm. Six mile is FULL of poison ivy - noticed it is growing at the base of several trail signs, and every third plant is PI.

Wash thoroughly with green Dawn dish detergent or Tecnu as soon as possible after a ride. Most of the time, I avoid break outs that way.

I used to be unaffected by PI. I slowly became sensitized after constant exposure...at six mile.

Riding at 6 am tomorrow if any of you slackers want to get out of bed. Canal lot, planning to do the whole park.

Did Orange trail today in orange shirts. Thanks to everybody who gave me directions before and I stopped to ask for directions today. We tried to go back on red but it was to much for for my son.

BTW, the Orange trail was awesome. My son said on the way home he went with the ying-yang philosophy: the trail has a harmony so he went with the flow. I think he got it from the last airbender.

Had a great ride at 6M this morning. Started out on 27, rode red-orange-blue then red all the way back. Conditions were great.

Only saw one group that had two riders with no helmets. Made a remark to them...they ignored me.

I wonder if that was the same group that I passed at the power lines on my way to 27....and on the way back, caught up to them and passed them again a quarter way into orange.

Does anyone go in there and trim back the PI? I'm allergic to the point that if I look at it I'll get it, not really a fan of itching and oozing out of my skin lol.
