Anybody try Box components?

I killed another derailleur and thought maybe try something different. Looking at the Box 3 prime, not sure on 46 or 50.

Kinda into the 9 speed idea as my 12 speed fatbike is a lot of shifting. Anyways, input appreciated!

I almost did then went with Microshift advent x
Works flawlessly

@Paul H is using that setup on his Ragley. The first gen push-push shifters were interesting till Shimano sued them. I'm using box1 11spd, new shifting and works okay but not great like SRAM or Shimano.

Like Matty said, I'd go with Micro if on a budget

I have Box 11 speed when it went on sale. works fine. Feels somewhat Like shimano LX or slightly better.

I have the Microshift Advent X on one of my fatbikes also. Not the best I've used but not bad either. For the price I think it punches above it's weight class.

Yep... got the box 9
Went with box instead of microshift because box is 50t vs 46? on microshift.
Shift throw is long when compared to sram gx that I have on my other fatbikes.
Obviously gear ratio is wide and for fast trails when pedaling... finding that right gear can be difficult. But currently I have no cardio whatsoever so it's working fine now lol

I put a box two 11sp drvtrn on a loaner fatbike and my buddy loves it. The derailleur seems pretty durable.

Appreciate the input. Found local shop with a replacement derailleur in stock so we’ll call this a no decision. Next time!
