Anyone familiar with parking at PNC Arts?

I have concert tickets for tomorrow. Trying to figure out if ther is a place to park that is closer than being all the way down the hill. Really do not want to pay $180 VIP parking. Dr. says I'm ok to go so long as I wear the immobilizer when on the stairs and in a crowd. Not too worried about the "crowd" at a James Taylor concert, just trying to limit the walking.

might be too late in the game for tmw but you may quality for a temp HCap placard even if you are not the driver.

Temp gets issued by local PD not the MVC:

Found out about this last night. Pretty slim chance to get this done in time. Dr's office won't do it via email which isn't great since they told me not to drive yet.

Your best bet is to get there early. I think if you come in from the northbound lanes of GSP you’re probably got a better chance to be funneled towards the lots closer to the area on the right side.
If nothing else pans out I figured we'd just get there early and hope my wife can drop me off and then go park. At the end of the show I expect this choice will cause a shit show of her trying to get back up the hill to pick me up.

Right, last time I was there they were parking the SB traffic on that side of the highway.

Maybe James Taylor just isn't worth it.
Without a doubt but they're paid for....

Spoke to neighbor who between him and his wife seem to have had a dozen knee surgeries. Said he always just shows up with his leg brace and explains to the attendant for the handicap parking section that he can't walk. Said they've always just let them park. So that's the plan for now.

Well? Did you get to meet James Taylor?
Yup. No problems after taking my neighbor's advice. Kid didn't want to let us into the ADA lot until he glanced into the car and saw the leg brace. Then, no problems.

Funniest part of the concert was listening to the opening act, Tiny Habits talk about themselves. Seriously depressing. First song was really depressing and they finish and say "well that's the most upbeat song we do, it's all downhill from here." They weren't joking. There must have been a broken railing or row of seats behind us because the Facilities guys were using an impact wrench throughout the opening act's entire half hour set.
