Baldpate Mtn, Ted Stiles Preserve

While on a road ride on Pleasant Valley Road (the northside of Baldpate) I noticed that the trail head (no parking area) closer to 29 has a new sign that states "Hikers Only". Not good! I know the state is dumping some money into this place right now with the new parking lot. Has anyone else noticed any signs like this within the park? I haven't had time to check it out lately.

I have also noticed these signs. They were put up by Mercer County Park System. Talked to the people at the local bike shop and seems that this area is high profile for Howell Living Farm. Basically they try to maintain this area and seem to have pull. Howell is under the authority of the Mercer County Park Commission.

It is my understanding the other side near Washington Crossing is still open to all. At this point I have seen no other restrictions.

I would think that some trails could be linked with the Valley Road Picnic area?
