I’d say most people park at river road park there’s some pretty popular loops that start and end there.

South end of Island Road near the reefer plant is solid.

North end of Island not solid! @Carson and I went out, starting on Island and it quickly got mega sloppy just a bit up the road from this pic. We decided to do road miles, but then I got a flat so that changed plans again. Dave plugged my tire and we were still able to get in a decent ride just doing laps arms my hood 😂

based on my experience riding there my guess would be yes, a lot of that area is in the sun. just pay attention to the shadier areas that get less sun for any tricky spots and maybe squishy potholes. I doubt after today/tomorrow there could be much ice left but don't quote me on that.

I was hoping to play hookie myself but looks like I can make a window in the morning so I will be able to recon the Columbia trail for real this time.

"Not too bad. There were muddy spots, but they weren’t super wet…more like mush and splatter on your bike. If you are ok getting your bike a bit dirty, definitely go. And I’m sure today will be improved a bit."
