BIG Thanks to TM team!

I ride Mercer often (its my home field) and yesterday I got out for the first time since to storm. I was shocked by the amount of storm damage it sustained. The amount and size of the fallen trees was overwhelming. 🙁

I wanted to publicly thank the TM teams that cleaned up, re-routed, and in some places, actually improves the trails. It was impressive to ride through and enjoy what would have been a great loss if not for your hard work and dedication. 🙂

All of you should work for the County Parks Department or at least get a percentage of our county taxes! Thanks again and I look forward to riding the "new" trails again!

btw, does anyone know if the blue trial south of the power lines that connects to the red is ever passible?

Yeah Mark, you can count out that section...

percentage of the taxes...hmmm...that sounds good! Mick, Tom, Mike, Jim, etc would be rich by now...Mercer is ready, come out and ride! I'm shooting for 2pm today.

Not anymore With all of the building north of Conover and some help from the beavers what was once a seasonally wet area is now a small pond year round Smart had a grant to put a boardwalk in that area but by the time the money was awarded it was no longer legal to get a permit The wetland area was larger than 5 acres We instead used the funding for the three trail head kiosks you see in the east & west picnic areas and at the marina.
