I don’t know what temperature it was when I rode before and I didn’t care to look either. I did just jump in the car to take my daughter to gymnastics and the car read 5°.

I'm late to the party. I did't realize that BIYF 2023 started before the New Year, and I guess that's a plus for those participating in the Festive500.

I installed new fenders for this ride and was glad to have them with the unexpected mud.

Pro winter tip. Any cycling cap is shit, Outdoor Research Peruvian Hat is what you want. Ties under the chin so zero wind gets through to the ears without having to be a dipshit in a Balaclava.

For non-hirsute types any ole balaclava up over the chin works perfectly.
