Wow that's a lot of maths
Since everything dirt around here is crap right now decided to try warriors path trail hoping it wasn't to bad it was a mix off soft rail trail and stretches off ice deferred to the road for some of the longer sections of ice on the way back
Closed out 2022 on the road bike. It was a pretty lackluster year for me on the bike. Just because of life getting in the way, I only rode about 1,200 miles, which is way down from the past few years. On the bright side, it’s these little contests that get me out on the bike on days when I would otherwise not have the motivation. Happy New Year, everyone!
Almost bailed due to the fog and if it wasn’t the last day to ride in 2022 I probably would have been on zwift.
Finally used my road wheel setup on the gravel bike for some more stability and disc brakes in the wet (road bike has new to me rim brake carbon wheels) plus I’ve got 32s. Totally felt stable and no issues with shifting or brakes rubbing.
It wasn’t raining but the thick fog and road spray I was glad I kept the shoe covers on but I should have brought a rain jacket.
After about an hour if this I was kinda done so went home. Happy to top off the miles over 6500+.
1:03 ride duration
+30 for Lights. It was super foggy with intermittent rain, and so I ran full lights and a reflective vest.
+30 for Grinch
+30 for Christmas skeleton

I almost didn't ride because of the thick fog, but I literally had to ride <1 mile to hit 4,000 outdoor miles for the year.
