Other bonus - Finally feeling better post COVID #2 and it’s 50F degrees out.

As noted spent the majority of the last 10 days getting over COVID. Kicked my ass pretty good again but at least it didn’t last 4-5 weeks like last year.

It seemed like everything was happening to prevent me from a ride today. Couldn’t find one of my lightweight riding gloves, Garmin wouldn’t start; HR and cadence sensor kept disconnecting and my phone kept ringing. But I said F it I wasn’t missing a day to ride.

Then when I got back realized I didn’t take a ride pic so here’s one of my HR chart from my FitBit. If this doesn’t make the board I understand. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Aside from some sinus congestion I didn’t have too much trouble breathing so hopefully no additional issues recovering. Still testing positive as if the weekend so hope to be negative soon.

I’ve got the Sourlands event in a month so hopefully enough time to get back in shape.

No bonuses

Thank you @iman29, @jackx, @Patrick, @Frank, @ekuhn, and everybody else for the congratulatories. The countdown to the baby's due date is now in the single digit weeks. Truth be told, I considered throwing my hat in for organizing this year's BIYF, but I knew there was a chance that I wouldn't be able to finish. Maybe next year?

So onto today's activity. First snow in the Rutgers-NB area.

Salt inhaled - a lot
Bonus: 0:00

Another day where between work and home things were lining up to prevent me from riding. But I went anyway and was even a little underdressed then sun didn’t make it feel any warmer at all.

For the trace amount of snow we got they salted the shit out of all the roads to the point where the shoulder was completed coated.

Always feels better mentally to get a ride outside and help make the day moar better. At least I finally tested COVID negative this morning.
