A dishing tool is not expensive and probably it wouldn't be that difficult to McGyver either. I guess ideally the stand should allow you to dish as well but for some reason I don't find that to be the case with mine, not to my expectations at least.

I got my stand from Bob... it actually has a thing for dishing. Done 4 wheels so far and they worked out well.

Not a chance, the 4 missing spokes would account for a simmetrically split distribution of the spokes along the wheel.I was kidding BTW…but yeah.
