Car-spotting thread

There absolutely can be a legal ramification. Someone just needs to make the call.

Valets using them, too, goes up my ass. I had an argument at Char one night with the valet as he had parked his personal car in the handicapped spot. After some discussion, it was moved. Don't be a lazy piece of shit.

i meant no legal ramification to a space marked 'delivery' not that there wasnt one for the handicap space.

It drives me batshit crazy that dealerships use handicapped spots for deliveries, parking, etc. I mean you paid to line out the lot, make some delivery spots, you morons.
while i agree, we all know that there would always be entitled pricks parking in those spots to shop bc there is no legal ramification to not doing so.
So as someone who used to design parking lots back when I did civil engineering.....every one I ever did....you had your formula that took into account what kind of business it was....that would give you the total number of spaces you needed....9x18 were the dimensions I remember...so by the time you got done with the max impervious coverage, the amount of spaces you needed....lay everything out with all the little islands that had to be a certain size, proper radius' maintained, width of the lanes....every parking had like one possible configuration that would end up working and satisfy all the rules. The owners had zero say in what I designed.....they would bitch...but didnt have much choice.

Sounds like you were part of the problem.

I know I know. Not blaming you. This time.

sounds like you backed down - 😛

I was with ya - cause man, I've seen parking lots where they decide the plantings and the signage block all the sight lines.

FedEx has a huge lot in Branchburg - the customer area is small. they put all the HA spots there - in front of the drop box.
I guess that means use them if someone didn't long-term the space?

I can't wait for cars to park themselves.

I park on Meister so my anxiety doesn't get too high. Only so many emergency Xanax in the Macan.

We already are taking jobs from India and China. We were sending work there for authoring and they send back with good drafts. From these drafts we finalize here in the US. The technical agentic AIs are a game changer, going to kill these low level office jobs.
