Car-spotting thread

Funny you mention green. The Maverick isn’t so special but I haven’t seen one in this color before. Not the best picture with the sun going down

This was an interesting paint job on this older Hyundai.

And no picture but last night I saw a Cayenne with off road tires and one of those roof rack things with all the off road equipment and the license plate said POORISH. Thought that was creative.

On the way to work today I noticed a LOT of police cars camped out along the different towns I have to drive through. Then I watched as a Chester PD pulled over an SUV and my first thought was he’s gonna ticket her for snow on her roof. Sure enough he gets out and points at her roof. Good.

Then at work I see this dumbass. It was at least 6-8” high. Hope he goes home via Chester.

Sigh.

Are you saying I should clean the top of my truck? I drove 300 miles like that yesterday. Sorry for the doorbell photo, but if I'm too lazy to clean my roof I'm sure not standing up to go take a photo.

not tryna be a jerk just sayin...

In New Jersey, it is mandatory under N.J.S.A. 39:4-77.1 to remove all accumulated snow and ice from your vehicle—including the hood, roof, trunk, and windows—before driving on public roads. Failure to do so can result in fines ranging from $25 to $75 for each offense, which can increase to $200-$1,000 if flying ice causes property damage or injury.

@Carson - thoughts?

edit - p.s. my son got up on a 10 foot ladder after the storm to clean off his work van roof:

Also security cam pic. lol

You just made me go check my Amazon history. I bought this brush 10 years ago and it broke Saturday when I was cleaning off both cars. Meant to finish, but obviously hadn't before I left the house at 6AM.

I mean yes, sure, but it's also a week of single digit temps. Usually we get above freezing after snowstorms and it's a hell of a lot easier to brush off snow and melting ice. I did clean off my truck but I sure as hell wouldn't be out there like Chester. Too cold for police work. I'm sure someone forced the issue in the hamlet of Chester.

I always contemplated enforcing the headlights on with wipers on statute, but then I realized I would get wet while people searched for documents...

What Carson is trying to say....."A brush of any kind touching the paint on my roof? AS IF! "
