My wife had a c section. We both tried to look! I managed a glance cause while they were getting ready to reassemble,. I had to walk by. Nurse was impressed I didn't barf!
 
During my twins’ birth, my bride was in section C and the anesthesiologist and the OR nurse kept asking ME if I was ok- ummm, focus on her, please! Apparently Dads become an additional liability fairly often….
 
And I'm out of surgery!
Thank you all for the many well wishes.
Doesn't feel too bad, like I wrenched my back, and took an elbow to the mid section.

Getting a little more ouchy.
I have about 1500 steps in, so should be good.


Sharp pain, a sudden sting,
Oxy's calm, a gentle hand,
Easing every ache.
 
Well, depending on which way I move, the voice definitely does go up!

No Oxy last night, just a couple tylenol did the trick - got a little uncomfortable around 4:00, but no more than that.
Just got out of bed - going to try a slightly stronger NSAID.

Cool thing happened. I got in bed, rolled onto my left side.
Suddenly my right should is in pain. Dr warned me about this.
They inflate the abdomen with CO2 for room to work - it isn't all removed at the end of the surgery.
A bubble made it to my diaphragm, and the body infers that as right shoulder pain. Crazy!
lasted about an hour.

The 14yo in me thinks that would be conductive to some extremely loud hence cool farting...
