Dickerson Mine Preserve Conditions

Looking to ride here this weekend, most likely Sunday. With the rain we got the past couple days, would Dickerson be ok to ride this weekend?

I rode today, just got back. It's actually perfect right now. Get out there

Great conditions today, I dont think I rode everything but the trails I did were a blast. May become my after work spot since its not too far from Bedminster. I parked at Marty's and rode the white/yellow/blue/Marty's trails.

I'll put Dick Mine against Wildcat any day of the week for best-draining park. Also, much less likely to get hurt or break your bike at DM 🤣

was thinking of riding MTB Friday if the rain ends early enough Thursday to give the trails a chance. Which of the two locations would drain better and be in better condition for Friday AM riding; Dickerson Mine or Wawayanda?

Dickerson mine drains pretty well. I'd be more worried with a real windy storm coming in of anything that might get dropped onto the trails during or after the storm.

I haven't been to the DM trails recently, but I live about a mile away. There is some snow dusting in spots on the ground, but it shouldn't be a problem to ride any bike.

Was great on 12/7/2025. Little bit of snow cover here and there.. fairly frozen, no issues with mud where we went... 10am-12pm

Yeah, sorry I didn't get an update in. Ran into the Rockies while we were there. Conditions were GREAT Saturday, just a TINY bit of muck in some spots on the Green Loop.

Was at the Randolph MVC to get my car inspected this afternoon so I popped across the street to the industrial park to check out the trails. As expected it was an ice rink...studs required.
The trails where this guy rode skinny tires in the melt will likely suck with a deep frozen rut.

But where he didn't ride (yellow) appeared to have a nice smooth surface for studded fun.

Disclaimer is i only walked from Marty's trailhead to the bridge on yellow so other sections may be different.
