As someone working on the periphery of the mining industry, there is definitely high drone usage in surface mining. Especially when blasting is part of the equation. So no one really knows what this is about. We should be listening only to the perceived experts, while mocking those who may be correct in sounding alarm bells. Is the Dunning-Kruger effect in high gear? Sure is! But the hubris I'm seeing as of late (everywhere) is starting to approach Covid levels. Very unfortunate to see such myopia once again on display.
Agreed! Just consult the first ticktok video in your feed and go with whatever conspiracy they are selling. Never use common sense or critical analysis.....those are tools of the deep state!
So who are the perceived experts vs the real ones? FBI = Perceived experts? Random guy in Kansas who owns a drone company and knows about stolen nukes = real expert?
How about the FAA and Air traffic controllers....1 person has died in an airliner accident in the past 24 years.....the odds of dying on a US jetliner is now 1 in 816MILLION! Are they experts? Over 3000 flights per day of just airliners in and out of EWR, JFK, LGA and not one mid air collision in 64 years. Do they know anything about controlling the skies?
